Good dog beds

Fabric Care

Dog will be dogs - so we know there may come a time when you have to wash the cover of your dog bed, wash a crate pad, or throw a blanket into the washing machine. Before we even offer any fabric on our website, we make sure it has been tested for durability and that it will stay soft wash after wash. We want our fabrics to last for years and to stand up to use day in and day out. Here are some guidelines to follow when it comes to washing and drying one of your GoodDogBeds items.

Fabric Options

Faux Furs

This is our most luxurious fabric. Our faux furs are soft, thick, warm, and soothing to the soul. Whether it’s for your four-legged friend or yourself, you will absolutely LOVE our Faux Furs!

Faux Fur Care

Wash your luxurious faux fur item in the washer on regular cycle. If you can do an extra spin cycle, that will help the drying process. Hang dry and air fluff in the dryer if needed. PLEASE DO NOT USE HEAT IN THE DRYER AS THE FIBERS WILL MELT.

Cozy Fabrics

Our cozy fabrics are incredibly soft fabrics! They are lighter weight and a bit less furry than our faux furs. They still have a weight to them meaning they are warm and "cozy," just not as heavy as the furs. They will wash and dry beautifully.

Cozy Fabric Care

Wash this beautiful fabric in cold water and if you can, add an extra spin cycle to help the drying process. You can machine dry on a cool setting and your fabric will be fine. We recommend air drying and then fluff it up a bit so the fabric last even longer.

Cuddle Fabrics

Our cuddle fabrics are not only beautiful and soft, they are practical. They have a bit of weight to them so they are wonderful as a blanket and are easy to wash and dry, which makes them great for crate pads and beds. Our cuddle fabrics are great for a warmer pup.

Cuddle Fabric Care

Wash your cuddle fabric on warm, regular cycle in the washer. Dry on low heat and you’re ready to go! As an option you can air dry and fluff a bit on low heat.
